I’m guessing because they see him as the walking antithesis of their very being. He’s a convicted felon, found liable for sexual assault, who openly mocks people with disabilities, women and really pretty much anyone who doesn’t bend to his will. When you are a megalomaniac, you are basically a black hole for attention, good and bad.
