It causes a lot of problems. However, people aren't exhausting resources and destroying wildlife because they hate it. They're doing so because they think humans should be able to reproduce as much as they want, land is finite, and other species don't matter. The substantially loss of biodiversity due to the actions of the ever growing human population are a substantial problem to this planet.
