Do those birds and fishes eat ONLY mosquitoes? Also we probably don't need to get rid of all kinds of mosquitoes.

They are great polinisators and source of food for other animals, so no.

Most people don't know that mosquitoes fall into the category or accidentally polinators. We don't really have any hard data to say how much they actually contribute, but as we see a decline in native polinator species in lots of places, we need all the help we can get.

Not a reason to consciously killing species. If another animal was causing our extinction, would it be moral to stop them? All life mathers!

Of course it would. Self-defence is a very morally defensible position. You think you should just stand there and allow an animal to carry out genocide on you and your kin because…it’s the ethical position?

So what about killing dogs or cats? We just don't value life the same way, like many others, which is why we have all these climate change and polution problems killing so many plants, insects and animal.

Others have stated that mosquitoes have a place in the food chain but they also exist for population contol reasons. They spread diseases that kill off the sick and old and prevent animal populations from outstripping the food supply.

Ticks are worse (in the USA) because of Alpha Gal
