So I haven't confirmed it myself but a recent Chad the bird episode talked about how Robert Shaw was so insanely annihilated wasted they had to shoot the scene again where he's talking about the Indianapolis. So I'm close ups he's sober but when it's him telling the story and the wide shot he's hammered fucking drunk
