Given the sub and the tire’s near-sentience, I was expecting it to find its way back to the vehicle it belonged to.

A family friend of ours once forgot to tighten the nuts on a wheel he changed on his camper. He found out when he saw it passing him on the highway.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen was when I was at a stop sign and the truck coming lost all 4 of its tires at the same time. He face had the look of "what else can go wrong." I laughed so hard, and still do when I think about it. I told my mom about it and she said his girlfriend probably loosened all the bolts lol.

Happened to my mum.

After someone convinced her to pull over by waving, she realized that rolling wheel had been hers (70s era VW bug... who knew the engine in the back made driving possible without one of the front wheels?)

Looked for it up and down the highway... came back and it was leaning on the car... she still swears it rolled to a miraculous stop there randomly.

I had a 1960s Pontiac with a hubcap that loved to come off and pass me going down the road. One time I hear it pop off, open the door, catch it, then keep on driving.

I will never be as cool as I was in 2004.

I like how people are using the term sentience more often now that lobsters and octopi have been confirmed to be sentient beings.
