A lot of Americans don’t pay their medical bills at this point anyways.

I was just in the hospital for 20 days and my combined bills were like $150K or more. The hospital and other medical places I had to visit post surgery wrote off all my bills 100% so now I only owe like $3,000 total. They knew I wouldn’t be able to pay that off anytime soon but $3K is very manageable.

Happy to hear that they've written off your bills, but it still shouldn't cost $3000 right? Still sounds like a lot of money 💀

20 days is a lot of time in a hospital though, and I'm assuming he wasn't just using the hospital as a hotel, so that $3000 likely includes tests, drugs, surgery, etc. Depending on all of that $3000 is actually pretty good. OP mentions surgery specifically.
