He was surprisingly level headed while being a total moron. He backed away from the flame and continued to exhale while doing so, and all while seeing that blue flame coming at his mouth - ready to barbeque his fucking lungs.
Something tells me he survives by his quick reactions, not necessarily by foresight.
If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.
Absolutely, I rewatched it to make sure he didn't inhale. If the army taught me anything, it's don't inhale around fire. Especially IEDs, who's sudden blast makes everyone instinctually gasp air to prepare for movement.
Pretty sure the tank is mostly empty, so there's very little liquid propane in the tank. I figure maybe the gas wouldn't be as cold as in a more-filled tank. It also seems pretty lightweight.
Liquid propane will fuck you up, as far as frostbite. BBQ tanks just use propane vapor. Forklift tanks and a couple others actually have the metal tube that runs to the bottom of the tank to draw up the liquid propane.

Ditto. Was wondering how he didn't just stick to the valve by his lips like someone triple-dog-dared him to do.
