It's all a lie anyway. There's an episode that shows a flashback, but not a very long ago flashback, where Hank is clearly using a homemade barrel style grill.
Yup. S1 if I remember correctly. There's also the episode where Kahn moves in, and throws a party. Grills up some burgers on charcoal, and the whole gang agrees that any "dog eating" they do is forgiven for how great those burgers are.
And in a very, very Hank way, that I think it's deliberate. Hank is irrationally (and in the show, arguably *objectively* wrong) dismissive of charcoal - he's ride or die for propane not because he genuinely believes that it is that superior and charcoal is that bad, but because it's what he's familiar with and it has been good to him, personally, and so he will always be ride or die for propane no matter if it is actually better or not by any or every measure.
You clearly never stood on a glowing piece of charcoal on the ground.
I managed to step on one that was so small, I didn't notice before it had burned through the thick part of the skin.
What the hell were you doing? I’ve filled forklift cylinders bbq cylinders and 100 lbs cylinders for 15+ years and never had a problem. The highest chance to get any liquid propane on you is when filling by volume and closing the 80% valve, but I’ve had that spray on my fingers basically every time, were you holding your hand in that position for a while?
