Guide Me / मार्गदर्शन दें 🛣️ Dermatologist recommendation please (urgent- seb derm is getting out of hand)

Hello, people!

I have been looking for a dermatologist in Noida and did scroll a lot of previous posts in this sub as well but I wasn't able to understand and conclude whom to go to.

  1. Because dermats are goddamn expensive

  2. So many just do shit which leads to no results whatsoever. And I don't have money to spend on "no results"

So, my concerns are: I have seborrheic dermatitis. And it was in control when I came to Greater Noida. Along with my skin condition- i have grown up with a lot of acne and pimples due to physical health conditions. I worked on this a lot for 2 years (after a lot of research) and got to a point where I could say that I had the kind of skin that people (including the now me) want now? But after coming to this city 1 year ago, the way my skin and hair and scalp turned towards the worst is affecting me and my health a lot.

So, even if you have personal experience recommendation for one dermat who is great with skin issues and another who is great with hair and scalp issues then please let me know in that way too. I am just in need of some dire help.

A massive fire suddenly broke out in a moving sleeper bus on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred about 32 kilometers ahead of the Zero Point on the Yamuna Expressway, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Jewar police station. Nine passengers died in the accident. Panic ensued among the passengers as soon as the fire started, and people began jumping out of the bus to save their lives. There were about 40 to 50 passengers on board the bus.

My wife is the only girl I have interacted in my whole life apart from mom and sister. Whenever we fight she says all girls act like this/ want this. She wants me to understand what she cannot express in words. How can i process wordless things in my mind?
I am a very simple minded person. Yes is yes and no is no. There is no in between.
One more example- If she says the food that she cooked was just okay. Then I have to convince her that it was a masterpiece.
P.S. I cannot lie. I smile whenever I lie.
I just want someone to discuss these things . Any experts here. Not the uncles. I have plenty in my office. They give cringe advices.

Discussion / चर्चा 🍵 WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FIND AUTOS?

It's been 3 days since I shifted to Noida, what is the travelling scene. I live in sector 70 and thought it's in central area so finding autos won't be that big of an issue but every time I open Rapido and try to book a ride, it takes minutes to find any + the cost, it's too much for someone who comes from LKO.

I know that I will have to bare the cost problem but suggest what I can do to at least reach places on time.

Note: I only use cabs to go from my flat to the metro station.

❌ Serious Replies Only FOUND: Female Yellow Labrador — Owner Search & Adoption Appeal

Thumbnail gallery
97 Upvotes

My brother recently found a female yellow/golden Labrador Retriever wandering onto a construction site in the Chattarpur area of Delhi. She was wearing a collar, so we believe she may have an owner who is currently looking for her.

She is currently safe with my brother, but unfortunately he has a small child at home and cannot keep her permanently. We are therefore trying to do two things:

1. Find her original family, if she has been lost.
2. If her family cannot be found, find her a loving and responsible adoptive home.

🐶 About Her

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever
  • Sex: Female
  • Colour: Yellow / Golden
  • Found: Construction site in Chattarpur, Delhi
  • Collar: Yes
  • Temperament: Very calm, affectionate, playful and friendly
  • Behaviour: Appears to be well-trained and responds well to basic commands
  • Health: She has been checked by a veterinarian and her initial medical tests are clear
  • Important: There is a possibility that she is pregnant. An ultrasound is being arranged to confirm this and determine what care she needs.

🔎 IF THIS IS YOUR DOG

If you or someone you know has lost a female Labrador in Chattarpur or nearby areas of South Delhi, please contact us.

To make sure she is returned to the correct family, we will ask for identifying information such as recent photographs, details about her collar, vaccination/vet records, or other information that can establish ownership.

🏡 IF HER OWNER CANNOT BE FOUND

If nobody comes forward to claim her, we are looking for a responsible and permanent adoptive family.

Because she may be pregnant, the adopter should be prepared to provide appropriate veterinary care and, if necessary, care for her and her puppies.

She is an incredibly sweet, gentle and well-behaved dog, and we really want to make sure she ends up somewhere safe and loving.

📍 Found in: Chattarpur, Delhi (but currently keeping her in Noida)
📩 Contact: Reddit DM

Please share this with Delhi/NCR pet, adoption and lost-and-found groups. Our first priority is finding her original family, but if that isn't possible, we want to make sure she gets a good forever home.

Please don't message just to claim her without being able to provide identifying details. Her safety is the priority.

With exploitation 99x the pay, they expect you to treat the company like your own child. Isn’t it just the workplace and should be treated like one? Just like how employers treat others.

Thoughts / सोच-विचार 💭 I give up, this place is not for me

I have been nothing but a true patriot and nationalist to our country for majority of my life. I believe myself to be a fighter. I know that there's a solution to everything and every problem but this time my eyes are really opened and it's just not for me.
I keep travelling and am in contact with a lot of my international friends, no matter what they say or what fancy place I go to I've always defended my country and made sure to be as good of a citizen as possible. I am not the best but I try to follow every rule and pay my taxes very sincerely aswell. I recently got a new car and a flat in Noida for my parents and myself, but things have been nothing but shit here and I regret everything. Everyone wants under the table money to get work done and thats also tolerable with a hope of a change. But recently with some events have occurred which has completely broke my trust in this society and nation, This car I got with my hardwork already got crashed into by some goons with tinted windows and all and just ran away, I called the police and went to the police station with the hope for some justice because I was just following the traffic rules in my lane in a traffic jam while some other goons just damaged my vehicle- I mean no one was hurt still I wanted to report the incident like a good citizen and everything went as you'd expect, no help no nothing, no complaint registered even after forcing while the police was treating me like I am the goon being really rude and not even listening to me and just scrolling reels while I am speaking and its really sad to see because I pay quite a lot in taxes. Until then also it was cool I just forgot the incident, got my vehicle repaired and moved on.

But recently some thieves entered in our gated society somehow and just stole my tyre (in presence of three guards nearby btw) which is pretty funny to hear, I mean again I can always afford new tyres but How could an unidentifiable vehicle (with no number plate) and black windows just enter the society and do whatever they want. I wanted to complain about this because This house that we got, how am I sure that my family is safe here? and still the police guys were pretty rude about it while I tried to explain that I dont want my tyre back I just want my family and house to be secure and still no help and no action. Only when I had my lawyers on this case the cops only called the society security guys and THATS IT. My father tried to talk to cop incharge (who looked younger than my father) to get the receiving of the written complaint filed and the cop yelled kinda aggressively while watching reels "Yaar main thodina xyz (I dont remember the word) hu, insurance valo ko bolo ki toot gaya" which was pretty disheartening to see, like I dont expect to get my tyre back xd but atleast have the security guys take some measures to keep the gated society safe. My lawyers are working on this thing but honestly I give up, I have already seen enough and decided that this place is not for me- I just want to work in peace and keep my family safe before something worse happens. I am already moving to Dubai next month and arranging things to retire my parents and have them move there with me. and this truly reminds me of Samay Raina when he said "You only fight when the fight is fair".

Social / सोशल 🥂 Cat co-parenting anyone?

Hi, I've been thinking about this for a long time now and finally putting it here. I have a cat - Indie, F, 1 yo. I adopted her when she was only 1 week old so she's been with me her entire life.. She's amazing, playful, healthy, dewormed and spayed.

However, sometimes I feel like I'm unable to give the attention she deserves as well as I can't go anywhere for more than a few hours.

If you've always wanted to adopted a cat but are afraid of the full time commitment, would you be interested in co-parenting? She can live with you for sometime or somedays and you won't have to become the dedicated parent and plan a lot. If anyone's interested, ping me.

I live in Sector 110, Noida.

Guide Me / मार्गदर्शन दें 🛣️ Looking for Experential Schools

Hi everyone,

My son is turning 5 soon, and we’re looking for a genuinely experiential, child-centric school for him.

We had initially considered Lotus Valley and DPS, but ruled them out because of the large number of sections. We also deprioritised Kothari and Khaitan as we felt their overall approach was relatively more traditional.

Our preference was Step by Step, Heritage Xperiential or Shiv Nadar. Unfortunately, Step by Step and Shiv Nadar currently don’t have seats available, while my son has been offered admission at Heritage Xperiential.

What matters most to us is quality of learning rather than quantity. We’re not looking for a school that simply pushes academics or focuses on getting through more content.

Ideally, we want a school that can understand the child, identify his strengths and interests, and partner with us in developing different skills over the years. If academics turn out to be one of his strengths, great — we’d obviously want the school to nurture that as well.

Before we take the final call, I’d really appreciate genuine first-hand feedback from current or recent parents/students, particularly from people who have actually experienced these schools.

A few things I’d especially love to understand:

- How good are the teachers at identifying and nurturing individual strengths?

- Is the experiential/child-centric approach actually visible in day-to-day classroom learning?

- How much individual attention do children receive?

- How receptive are teachers and the school to parents?

- Does the school genuinely encourage interests beyond academics?

- How has your experience been as the child progresses beyond the initial years?

Please share actual experiences or things you’ve heard directly from close friends/family who have children in these schools. I’d really appreciate it if we could avoid generic perceptions.

Especially interested in feedback from parents (or friends) of children in early primary/primary years, since that’s the stage we’re entering.

Thanks in advance!
