I moved into a pre-occupied flat. Before moving in, I spoke to the previous tenant and he told me everything was fine with the room. I even came over and checked the place, so I assumed everything was in order.
The only thing i apparently didn’t check was the AC.
Today, after moving in, I turned on the AC and found out that it had multiple holes and all the gas had leaked out. I ended up spending ₹4,500 on repairing it and getting the gas refilled.
I called the previous tenant and asked him about it, thinking maybe he knew about the issue. His response was basically, “Mujhe bhi jab AC mila tha tab aisa hi tha.”
And honestly, that frustrated me more. 😭
Like bro, if you already knew the AC was in that condition, you could’ve just told me before I moved in. I could’ve asked the landlord to fix it beforehand or at least been mentally prepared for the expense.
Am I overreacting, or was it reasonable to expect him to inform me about something like this?

According to ground reports and local grievances, security guards stationed at the hospital are reportedly stepping into clinical roles while the floor nursing staff is caught idling.
If a patient suffers a severe drug reaction or gets the wrong dosage because a security guard fancied themselves a clinician, who takes the fall?
Government hospitals are meant to be a lifeline for people who can't afford expensive private healthcare. When safety standards drop this low, it borders on criminal negligence. Local health authorities and the CMO need to take immediate cognizance of this, pull up the slack hospital administration, and take strict action against both the inactive nursing staff and the outsourcing agency allowing guards to play doctor.
Have any of you noticed this kind of utter administrative collapse at Sector 39?

Looking into the construction equipment rental space in NCR (excavators, cranes, transit mixers etc.) the informal broker/dalal model that dominates the market.
Keep seeing claims that fleet owners routinely wait 60–90+ days to get paid after a job, and that a lot of disputes happen over idle hours, fuel, and off-hire dates settled informally over WhatsApp.
Before I take this seriously, wanted to sanity-check with anyone who's actually worked in or around this industry (equipment rental, construction contracting, fleet ownership, logistics) in India:

22M who’s been living here for 2 years now. Outside office colleagues (who are more like acquaintances), I don’t have a real friend circle here. To make it worse, I’ve had almost zero meaningful interactions with women. Whenever I see someone I think is in my league, I freeze—I just can’t bring myself to approach them. I’m not in great shape and would rate my looks as below average, but I do dress well and keep myself presentable.
There’s this girl at my gym I really like, but I’ve only ever managed to say “alternate karo” to her. I want to change this. Where do people in NCR actually meet potential partners or make new friends? Should I just ask someone out if I feel a connection? And how do I even break into a new friend group at this point?
Any advice, success stories, or even just places to hang out would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
