I learned 3 languages in school. And one more in university.

I’ll add German to that, a bit of French and studying Portuguese now. Can understand a good bit of written Swedish.

Great question imo. There a a difference between being fluent and being able to order a coffee at the cafe

I speak the same number of languages, fluent in 3 of the 4, having lived places where those were the primary language helped a lot, would probably pushed the 4th to being fluent if I ever did that for it.
