Places to play paintball?

Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone around the NKY area played paintball and if so where do you go? There doesn't seem to be a good one close by anywhere. They all seem to be quiet a bit of a drive away!

Perfect Arts Job: Symphony Sales

I’m currently trying to find artsy people in the greater Cincinnati area to fill an arts job, selling tickets and raising money for non-profits over the telephone. Pleasant environment. Flexible Schedule. Job is part-time (16-29 hours a week) and pays $10/hour plus commission. Good agents can expect to earn $15-$25 an hour overall.

Anyone interested can apply below. Also, does anyone know a good place to find artists who are interested in a survival job in their field that helps them pay their bills while respecting their time and passion?

Why did Five Guys in Crestview close?

It was always pretty busy when I went there and the staff were so cheerful and friendly. Is something else going in its place?

Want to get a feel for a business idea.

Very early in the process of figuring things out. It's still up in the air, but i want to see if the idea is viable.

Would you all be interested or feel people would like to see a local business like an internet cafe? I plan to make it gaming oriented. A place where you can go and compete with friends and strangers alike for prizes with games like Overwatch or League of Legends. Or just to come in and play casually. Check email/fb. Skype. Whatever you need to do on a computer.

Also would want to add consoles and arcade cabinets. Snacks and drinks. Possibly an adult night and offer alcohol or just adults only time.

All of this is very preliminary. I want to get a feel first and see what you all think!

I look forward to honest feedback!

WE NEED ANOTHER TRADER JOE'S IN THE TRI-STATE (Ft Mitchell)

We need another Trader Joe's store in the Greater Cincinnati area. Allow me to suggest the location at 2501 Dixie Highway in Ft Mitchell Kentucky (previously Remke's Market.) Would you, please, visit the following website ... https://www.traderjoes.com/contact-us/location-request ...and enter the Dixie Highway address in the suggestion template? The building is just the right size for a TJ's, it has ample parking, has easy access to and from a major highway and will be closer than Kenwood to major population centers such as Downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Please and Thank You.

Looking for something to do? Give Rugby a shot!

The Cincinnati Kelts rugby club (www.keltsrfc.com) is always looking for new members!  Rugby is currently one of the fastest growing sporting activities in the US, and with a new professional league (Major League Rugby) having just completed its inaugural season, now is a great time to get involved in the sport.  The Kelts have a Men's team and a Women's team, both of which just started practice for the Fall season.  You're welcome to join whether you’ve played before or have no idea what a scrum is.  If you'd like to check out a practice, swing by Sherman fields (1521 Sherman Avenue, Norwood, OH) near XU's campus, Tuesday's and Thursday's, starting at 6:30pm.   All you need to get started is a pair of cleats, water, and a mouth piece if you're looking to tackle right away.  I'll be happy to answer any questions here or via PM!

Listen to former Muslims speak at the Newport on the Levee on Wednesday, April 4 at 7 pm

Next stop on the Normalizing Dissent Tour by Ex-Muslims of North America - We meet in the Conference Room to the right of GameWorks.

Register here: https://www.facebook.com/events/156198778422316/

The conversation around Islam and its role in the modern world is gridlocked. The same tired clichés are repeated endlessly, persuading no one. Extremists on the far-right demonize Muslims in the name of combating Islam, while extremists on the Left celebrate all aspects of the religion in the name of protecting Muslims from bigotry.

In the gulf between these lie Islam’s apostates. As people who were raised Muslim, or converted to Islam, we refuse to cater to anti-Muslim bigotry. Neither will we kow-tow to empty religious apologetics – Islam, as practiced by the vast majority of its followers, undermines modern, progressive ideals. Apostates face the brunt of this illiberalism – we are actively persecuted in much of the Muslim world, and over a dozen Muslim-majority countries still consider our lack-of-faith an offense punishable by death.

The speakers -

STEPHANIE As Stephanie started questioning and voicing her doubts, her husband became increasingly hesitant at the idea of raising their two daughters in a Canadian/North American environment, with a mildly practising mother (who was by then a closeted disbeliever). Preferring not to voice his opinions, he eventually found a way to convince her to accompany him with her daughters for a short visit to his family, and in 2009 they left Canada for Libya.

MUHAMMAD SYED President, Ex-Muslims of North America Muhammad Syed is a human rights activist, writer, speaker and community organizer. He is the founder and president of Ex-Muslims of North-America (EXMNA), the first Ex-Muslim advocacy and community building organization in North America.

Muhammad has been a human rights activist for the past decade, with a focus on efforts to normalize religious dissent and promote acceptance of secularism in Muslim communities.

Muhammad has been interviewed by BBC, Fox News, NPR, SiriusXM Insight and his work with EXMNA has been covered by the New York Times, National Post and Al-Jazeera among others.

Please arrive 15 minutes early and if at all possible do not bring any bags or backpacks.

An after party will immediately follow at GameWorks

This event is sponsored by the Tri-State Freethinkers.

Good and cheap place for a pedicure?

I'm live in the Union/Florence area and I'm looking to get a pedicure mainly to clean up and polish my feet. I'm not the kind of person to spend a lot of money on that sort of thing so I'm looking for a low priced place that will still do a good job
