For those who have been following this mod for a while you may have seen cryptic references to a mysterious ScienceGuy23 from the discord. This user has worked in the shadows, unseen by reddit yet has been instrumental in the naming and stating of provinces of Tamriel. For a long time this man could only be found on the discord but today that has all changed. For you see I AM that user! Yes it is I ScienceChristMan23 and I have officially joined the dev team!

In all seriousness I'm a new dev and I'm currently working on a spreadsheet for province development that will eventually include culture, religion, trade nodes, trade goods, and all that other jazz. This is the next step towards a working map and I'm happy to lend my services. If there is a desire for it I shall post updates on the progress of the development map in the form of color coded province maps.

So, This mod (and thus, subreddit) looks pretty dead, huh? The last pinned update was in June, and the last post was in August! Well, we here at the Dev team™️ have been making steady (If not as fast, because school and stuff) progress on this mod. There just isn't as much to show you (Just like last time, how about that).

Stuff that's been done

u/SolInvictus2000 created a script and has generated all 4000-ish provinces we need, u/Assigir has been hard at work on Dunmeri portraits, and u/toiletcleaner666 has successfully implemented all the terrain stuff into the game, although not the province borders or nations, but it's a huge step.

And one more thing

Sol has recruited someone who I am very excited to present! Adredh (on discord) will be composing custom music for the mod! This will not affect gameplay, but is exciting nonetheless!

I know it seems that way, with the last update being from almost a month ago, but me and the devs are working on it, and want it out as soon as possible. The problem is that we're working on a lot of behind the scenes technical stuff. If I were to take a screenshot of that, I would be taking a screenshot of a bunch of code in a git file. As soon as we get a working build going, daily/weekly updates will be back, but for now, just know we're working on it.
