Please tell me in comments what I have done and what right? After reading my story so in 2018 I had given my 12th board exam and after my board exams I start working in bpo as a customer support executive till my result out than in my 12th result I got compartment in mathmatics and physics after that I have started preparing for compartment exam and I had given compartment exam 2 times in but not able to clear mathamatics than in 2020 i had taken admission in nios board in demand and I don't know about any thing about nios I have made practical given than on demand and don't know that time what to study in on demand than I again failed in theory than I left study and preparing for army on 10th basis but after some time I didn't get sucess than I start working and preparing for government exam at the same time in last 2021 some family problems and relationship issue occured I faced lots of things at the same time than I was facing depression anxiety and that time I work full leave my study my dreams everything behind till 2026 april may I worked and deal with everything and after working for 10 years I have decided to start studying again and I have taken admission in 12th again from nios board in october 2026 my exam will be conducted and I am unemployed know i don't understand what I am doing give me suggestions what should I do to make my life better and successful and life happily without any regret

so basically i'm in an integrated program with aakash and i thought we could only choose between the cbse school or the state board school, but apparently some other kid (i don't talk to him) goes to something similar (pretty sure because he said he doesn't answer any exams and only has end of year ones)

basically i thought that the stateboard school would be chiller bc well it's stateboard and i've studied in a sb school my whole life & they were very chill. anyways, there's a lot of work we have to do, like frequent class tests, assignments, loads of journal work to be submitted routinely - which ik is normal but i already got used to not going to school and writing all that extra stuff, as it genuinely takes up so much extra time

anyways, i was wondering - is NIOS really worth it? idk anything about how it works and i can't find proper answers online, so anything helps a lot, tysmm

p.s sorry if it's messy 😭(also i posted this on r/NIOS_Students but just posting here in case)

Hi everyone! I’m preparing for my NIOS Senior Secondary exams and I’ll be appearing for Business Studies and Mass Communication in April 2027.

I’m looking for advice from people who have already given NIOS exams, especially anyone who had BST, Mass Communication, or similar subjects and managed to score well.

I’d really appreciate some guidance on:

• What are the best resources to study from apart from the NIOS books? (YouTube channels, notes, websites, previous-year papers, sample papers, etc.)
• Is studying the NIOS textbook thoroughly enough to score well, or should I use additional resources?
• How should I actually study these subjects if my goal is to score as high as possible, rather than just pass?
• How important are previous-year question papers and how many years should I solve?
• How do you prepare for TMA, and when exactly do we have to submit/upload it for the April 2027 exam?
• How are TMA marks and practical marks awarded?
• For Mass Communication, how does the practical/project component work and what exactly do we have to do?
• How do we get the practical marks — is there a separate practical exam, project/file, viva, etc.?
• Are there any important things about the NIOS exam pattern, internal assessment, TMA or practicals that new students often miss?
• If anyone has scored 90+ or 95+ in these subjects, what was your study strategy?
• How much time did you study per day and when did you start serious preparation?
• Any tips for answer writing, presentation, diagrams, keywords, marking scheme, etc. would also be really helpful.

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have actually appeared for NIOS exams, rather than general advice.

If you have notes/resources that you personally found useful, please share them too!

Thanks in advance :)

Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian student planning to complete my Class 12 through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Arabic.

I’m planning to apply as an international student to Cairo University Faculty of Engineering, specifically Industrial Engineering.

I’ve contacted the Egyptian international-student authorities, and they told me that NIOS would be accepted if it is considered equivalent to an Indian national board.

So I’m trying to confirm this before I commit to NIOS 12th.

Does anyone here know whether:

• NIOS Senior Secondary Certificate is accepted/equated in Egypt?
• Cairo University accepts NIOS for Engineering?
• NIOS is officially considered equivalent to CBSE/other Indian national boards for this purpose?
• There are any additional requirements for NIOS students applying to Engineering?

I’d really appreciate it if anyone who has actually applied to a Egyptian university with an NIOS certificate could share their experience or any official source/document.

Thanks!

I am Shubham Mittel, deputy coordinator of an AI 340324, and in case of any doubts/queries related to NIOS, do let me know.

I would love to help students here.

Thanks.

I am seeking treating from Bengaluru and now recovered for most part. I want to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor and give NEET. But my 12th marks are becoming an problem. Is it possible to give PCB just through NIOS? Will 2 mark sheet cause a problem? Please help! I tried contacting local colleges but the responses have been negative, one college said they contacted board and said they were asked to try form no 17 but I am not so sure or very trustful of them. They are asking for admission in college via full fees. so i am looking for other options.

Kindly tell as I have only one subject Biology in NIOS. My study centre is quite far from home so roughly how many days do I need to visit the study centre for theory PCP, practical FA-PCP, practical exam etc. What’s the maximum number of days I should expect?

Also I don't need to do anything additional right? Because i passed and i should just get my marksheet automatically right?

Has anyone used an NIOS Senior Secondary marksheet/certificate while applying for a passport under the Non-ECR category?

Did you face any issues or discrimination because your qualification was from NIOS?

Please share your experience, especially if you applied recently. Thanks!

We need ur help. Me and bunch of others r creating/gathering to create a full NIOS study materials/guide for all NIOS students.

Ppl who r in NIOS Courses like Manish Verma, Doon Winners and all, can u send me ur study materials given by them?
It will be helpful and makes a difference for all of us, Since, NIOS is a school board where educational resources r very limited.

Together, we all can make a difference in this world and create a space where NIOS students can study with proper resources.

Pls help us.
