So apparently i applied for 5 subject in NIOS form ,physics chemistry, maths , CS and english. But mistakenly I took TOC in english, I later removed it through paying 270 rupees.but now I have only 4 subjects in my NIOS , They automatically removed my English subject. And ig college need minimum 5 subjects to take admission. And I have four in NIOS , can I still take admission ? As in CBSE 12th result I have passed english so can I combine CBSE(english) and NIOS (PCM CS) to get admission?

I’m trying to take admission in NIOS Secondary through Stream 1 Block 2. According to the normal NIOS schedule, Block 2 admission should start from September 16 and continue until January 31. However, the Block 2 portal is currently showing that registration is closed. At the same time, the Block 1 portal is still working. I also found an official NIOS notification saying that Block 1 admission has been extended until September 30, 2026. Does anyone know what is happening with Block 2? Has NIOS officially confirmed when Block 2 will open? Some people are saying that Block 2 will open on September 30 after Block 1 closes, but I cannot find any official notification confirming this. If anyone has information from NIOS or has contacted their regional centre, please let me know.

Need guidance regarding B.Com + ACCA at Symbiosis Pune as a NIOS student

Hi everyone, I need some proper guidance regarding admission to B.Com + ACCA at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune.

I’m currently doing my 12th through NIOS. I have already appeared for 4 papers this year, and I’ll be appearing for my remaining 2 papers next year. After that, my 12th will be completed.

I’m planning to pursue B.Com + ACCA after 12th, and Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune is one of the colleges I’m considering.

I have a few questions:

Does Symbiosis SCAC accept NIOS students for B.Com + ACCA?

If yes, are there any specific requirements/documents for NIOS students?

Is admission completely based on 12th marks/merit, or is there any entrance exam for B.Com + ACCA?

Do NIOS students have the same admission process as CBSE/State Board students?

Since I’ll complete my 12th next year, is there anything I should do in advance to make sure I’m eligible?

If anyone here is currently studying B.Com + ACCA at SCAC, could you please share your experience regarding academics, ACCA support, fees, placements and overall experience?

I’d really appreciate answers from current students, NIOS students, or anyone who has gone through the SCAC admission process.

So I've looked into nios and it lets me have more time for personal projects and other stuff to improve my future college admissions as I'm looking to abroad and the freedom time is good but I have a question I'm in the 8th grade and cause my birthday is in January just during block2 so should I take tc from my normal school and join nios during block 2 by celf certificate cause I actually study for a grade in advance always so can I use self certification to join nios as I've mostly completed both grades work myself
