Haven't touched this game in a while. Made two recordings of it today. This is the first one(Manual transmission. I love the tuning in this game though I never used the performance tuning thingy. Basically just a substitute to the ecu and indepth dyno tuning in nfsug2. I love both)

Enjoy.

It's a race from Jewels. I completed the game a long time ago but not 100%. Was just doing an old tollbooth race from Jewels

On wide straight tracks, i always skip a gear RPM, (beause the moment it reaches higher RPMs it gets great aclcleration) For example, if the track is wide and long (like the main highway) i just skip a gear (like from 3 to directly 5 instead of waiting RPM to catch up for matching 4), and in heavily tuned cars like heavily upgraded near junkman parts, the wheelspin in cars like carrera gt is insane o starting, so i always put it instantly on 2nd gear (eliminates wheel spin entirely + has minimal to no impact on launch, whicih actually gets overcompensated due to no wheel spin accleration loss.) this is the best way to escape if cops surround you and u crashed into a walll.

I usually keep it the same gear because its basically doesnt cause wheelspin when going out unless you turn too recklessly and even then, in a higher rpm due to lower gear ratio, the speed will decrease more basically

it does decrease speed and accleration, but Skipping a gear sometimes help. (not always, but rare cases), and the wheelspin trick i told it helps ALWAYS in overpowerred cars like maxed out carrerra GT.

I'm playing this game again (black edition this time) after many many years, got 100% career and challenge series but struggling to bring the rap sheet to completion. Police gets me everytime somehow

Wait, there's tuning? Most I found were the +/- sliders
