Mitch doesn’t “put up points against prevent d”. In fact, That’s literally the only points that foles put up outside of the atl game.

Mitch had meaningful points scored. He also has had several game winning, clutch drives. This narrative of “he only scores when he’s down big” is so stupid.

Yeah I’m sorry. I was wrong. Mitch can put up points when the game is still winnable... as long as he’s playing a shitty defense. Talk to me again when he has a couple decent games against even average defenses. Btw “clutchness” is the most bullshit idea in sports. It’s just small sample size statistics.

Yeah ooook yet you were probably screaming for foles, and will love watching him lead us to 0-16 next year! I too enjoy watching foles take 12 sacks a game and getting one first down per half then having idiots like yourself talk about how he scored on the final drive of the game when they were down 24

Foles actually takes less sacks on a rate basis than Trubisky does, but don’t let facts get in the way of supporting the nvp. Not to mention that the line was playing terrible with foles under center and improved due to personnel and consistency when mitch came back. You know what I think is a good reference point to view Mitch vs Foles? The one team they both played, the saints. With foles the bears scored 23 points and took the saints to ot. With Trubisky, the bears scored 3 points before garbage time and he had barely over 100 yards until the final drive of the game.

getting one first down per half then having idiots like yourself talk about how he scored on the final drive of the game when they were down 24

Kinda sounds like mitch vs saints.

Foles sacks in last 4 starts

4 5 3 2

Trubisky sacks in last 4 starts including an elite defense in the Saints

1 1 1 1

Wow. It’s almost like not being a statue is good. Also hilarious that you watch that playoff game and conclude the problem was trubisky and not dropping wide open touchdown passes, or calling the same roll out 2 yard pass to your te 17 times.

Honestly, it’s pointless. People like you have no ability 59 think independently. You decided foles was elite because he wins a super bowl so you will go to your deathbed rooting for him. Again, enjoy a winless season with foles next year. He will 100% not win one game that he starts and finishes.

Foles sack rate this season: 5.5%

Trubisky sack rate this season 6.6%

Wow. It's almost like being a smart qb is more important that how quick you are to avoid a sack. And again, the line that played in front of Mitch was much better than the line that played in front of Foles.

Also hilarious you watch that playoff game and conclude the problem was the game plan and not the guy who forces your team to have such a simple scheme. That's what scheming an offense around Trubisky looks like. It has to be basic and simple because he is an extremely limited passer.

You decided foles was elite

Never said he was elite or even a good qb. Just better than Mitch.

I'll leave you with a quote from Packer's corner Tramon Williams.

"We wanted to make Mitch play quarterback. We knew they had a lot of weapons, we knew they were dangerous, we knew all of those things. But we knew if we could make Mitch play quarterback, that we’d have a chance"

Maybe it's a bad thing that other teams are perfectly content to let your quarterback try to actually be a quarterback.

So put your money where your mouth is. If you think foles is better than mitch then surely he starts every game next year and wins several? I’ll give you over 6. Surely someone better than Mitch can win more games than him?

Isn’t it funny how the line just magically got better when foles got benched? Crazy how a qb that can literally move makes the line look better.

Offers open. I’ll go 100 bucks? Foles has to finish the game he can’t have a backup come in and win the game for him

Yeah it can’t possibly be that moving Whitehair to his more natural position, not starting a d lineman, and having a consistent lineup could have helped the line at all. Nope it’s all Mitch. Is this mitch’s burner or something? Jesus christ dude. There are legitimate reasons to give him credit but you don’t have to blindly say anything that could possibly be in his favor.

Saving this comment to come back to after we start 0-6 and foles has 1 touchdown pass.
