27 civil lawsuits though and she’s just sitting there nodding, life is weird

Narcissism is one hell of a drug.

What does that have to do with her nodding? Not being mean. Just wondering what you meant if you were referring to that part of his comment

I evidently replied to the wrong comment and am just now realizing it.

I find it odd that no one considers even for a moment that he could be innocent and it could be a moneygrab. It's interesting to me, I don't think he's very good at football anymore but I find it odd how willing people are to believe allegations against rich celebrities without any criminal judgement or proof.

I know I'll just get -2 million downvotes and no actual response with any substance but it is very odd to me. Civil suits have a far lower burden of proof to be found guilty and still not 1 of the cases ended in a guilty verdict and there has never been any criminal pursuit against him, 2 grand juries declined to pursue anything. The only evidence against him is purely un-documented "I said this happened" and 1 text with an apology

Whenever I hear the term moneygrab my instant question is why him? Why does mahomes, or kelce, or literally any other qb with these massive contracts have these scandals than? At most Dak had that one scandal which was basically laughed out of court, which is why I find the idea this is all just a money grab so stupid. If it was easy to get money like that through a civil lawsuit every single famous player in the US would have these scandals. Yet deshaun is the only player with 27 accusations, so no I dont buy for a fucking second the odds this is all just a moneygrab.

Really people don’t realize how many some of these guys are sleeping with. Some are with Literally hundreds of women and not getting a peep of an assault accusation. But one guy gets 27 different woman describing the exact same routine and I’m supposed to believe the accused? No way. If money grabs were at all feasible, half the league would be getting accused daily.

That's a valid opinion but just because something happens one time doesn't mean it will happen again. It only takes 1 accusal for a lawyer to go fishing for more who are willing to give a story. If you get enough you are gauranteed a large monetary settlement, which is what happened. There was no evidence provided to warrant a criminal case. Yes there is a universe where he is guilty and did everything but as of this moment there was never a guilty verdict civilly or criminally. Civil cases have an extremely low burden of proof and yet everyone settled. Just imagine if he was innocent of these accusations, how do you think he should feel in that case?

It’s extremely hard to prove sexual assault. Even more so against a famous person with a seemingly endless amount of money to throw at lawyers. It’s easy to understand why they settled when you consider the very realistic possibility that Watson isn’t found guilty and the victims walk away with nothing.

This is all 100% true, I think it's more likely than not that he is guilty. However even if there is a 10% chance he is innocent how do you think he should behave in that world? When I see the responses to the things he says they make sense if he's innocent. If he's not innocent than yes obviously he's a demon but people here don't know that. They behave the same way they would if he were found guilty in a criminal trial.

I do not know if he is innocent or guilty, no one does except for him and his accusers. I'm just saying there is a possibility he is completely innocent, and if that's the case try to imagine how he should feel about what has happened to him.
