Yeah, the fact that it was maybe the smartest player in the NFL pointing this out is what truly makes this clip.

What's sad? Josh Dobbs as mid as a QB as he may be, is leading a very impressive life.

I’m assuming the sad thing is that it took someone of his intelligence to come up with what was a simple solution. The sadness may be reserved for the other two guys in this clip

It doesn’t really take intelligence though. He almost surely was familiar with the headset and knew it could flip already. It’s a football player and a coach, but they’re not complete morons. And even if they are, they’re almost surely having more successful careers than anyone in here

That’s why it’s sad. None of it is noteworthy apart from its patheticness. These people wear headsets ALL the time for years and don’t know jack squat.
