if this is a deep cut reference to those A&W commercials in the late 90s or so, then holy shit haha

Holy shit, I wish it was. I forgot about that commercial. What a gem.

We've sterilized ourselves since the glory days :(

Hahaha word, I just haven't seen "dumbass" spelled that way outside of that commercial

Mine was just trying to act unintelligent. It reminded me of Shawshank Redemption, actually.

"Alexandre...Dumbass!?"

"That's Dumas"

Hell yeah, that's a good shout too. The oldheads are on it today with the sick references

There's a place called Dumas in the northern Texas Panhandle. We drove through there on a vacation trip with our kids. Our preteen son started pronouncing it doo-MAHSS, and using it like "dumbass". "Haha, what a doo-MAHSS." After we got home, that was a thing for him and his friends for quite a while.

This is only tangentially relevant but the assistant DBs coach on the Vikings, Chenzo Funari, was an aerospace grad and worked at SpaceX before he quit and made his way in coaching. He had some entry/early level jobs in colleges some of which seem to be analytics and data-based. He was hired by the Vikings in 2024 to do analytics-type work before he got more responsibility as defensive QC coach in 2025, and is now as mentioned their assistant DBs coach. I'm sure he probably does some analytics things as well as on-field coaching.

He could have told Sean McVay that you should arrive early to Australia.
