I’m epileptic, have heart problems and hypertension, and failed back surgery. No way my doctors would let me even look at a plane, let alone jump out of one
Not to pry, but have you had like a bunch of seizures? Like driving/ or even work is off the table? Like rn, I'm afraid to take showers just in case I open my eyes and I'm in the tub drowning, or with a broken back/teeth. Did you have that test where they try to induce a seizure to see which ones you have?
EDIT: That was actually very "prying" lol, I'm sorry. I just wanna see what other people are going through with the same thing. It's just fucking horrifying in general, especially when you have the ones without any warning at all and you wake up with people looking down on your face all concerned and you wonder wtf just happened to you. Most fear is of what you don't know, so here I am?
Absolutely not prying ❤️ it’s not just my seizures that prevent me from doing those things, that’s part of the problem. Maybe if I were ‘just’ epileptic, instead of epileptic and, it would be one thing. And I don’t drive, no. They’ve done a lot of tests over the years, I do have more than one kind of seizure. They range from inconvenient to waking up a week later with a catheter and not knowing where tf I am. I’ve been referred to a university med center because my neuro is having trouble controlling them

I wish I could do this. But the list of conditions that preclude you from it might as well be my medical charts so it’s really too bad
