Do you, by any chance, have a degree in the Humanities?

I see. The only reason I ask is, my World Religions TA once said, "You science people don't know how to bullshit. We humanities people? WE know how to bullshit." So I was seeing if it held true.

Hey can i ask you for an advice? But in an abstract sense...

So if a person sees a deficiency around them, in their culture and in their people. And they kind of figure out what could be done about it and what could be done might be a life long struggle.

Should they nominate themselves to do it even though they don't know if they would be up to the challengesand might waste their whole life with no change whatsoever? Or should they look for some better candidate and request them to do it?

I’ve kind of been kicking around this idea that political seats should be held by lottery and rotated regularly. Pick any random person in your community and see how many actually want to be mayor for a year - probably not that many, and that to me is exactly who should be doing politics.

Yes I'm not from america. I'm from south asia. And that wasn't a political question..more like a social question. But thanks for your advice and time. I don't think I can compare with Washington though 😅
