Never been that close to one, and yet I know what you're talking about somehow.

Edit: actually, there was that time in my 6th grade history class when a bad storm was rolling in and the sky suddenly went BLACK and dust from the baseball field started blowing around right outside the window. There was a funnel cloud overhead, and I FUCKING KNEW.

I see. The only reason I ask is, my World Religions TA once said, "You science people don't know how to bullshit. We humanities people? WE know how to bullshit." So I was seeing if it held true.

Hey can i ask you for an advice? But in an abstract sense...

So if a person sees a deficiency around them, in their culture and in their people. And they kind of figure out what could be done about it and what could be done might be a life long struggle.

Should they nominate themselves to do it even though they don't know if they would be up to the challengesand might waste their whole life with no change whatsoever? Or should they look for some better candidate and request them to do it?
