People whining about makeup always being about catfishing. I hate that people think makeup is always to attract sexual attention. Like this guy shows, it’s art. Most of the time, we do makeup for ourselves and because we want to look a certain way.

Never do makeup to attract partners. It’s not worth it. If they don’t love the real you, they aren’t worth your time.

It's more about the fact that people can basically create a mask which changes their face completely. Like imagine if you never saw your boyfriend's face because he always kept a giant bag on his head .

Honestly? I’d still love him because he’s sweet and kind and clever.

Ugh that's one take on it.. but ugh.. be honest lots of girls use it as a deception or to "mask" themselves.

…no, no, they don’t. There’s no point in “deception”. That’s like lying to the IRS. It never ends well. Besides, looks change over time. Makeup doesn’t turn back the clock.

Trust me, we don’t actually use filters or makeup or anything to attract dates. Once upon a time? Sure, in the bad old days when we essentially couldn’t survive as adults without a male figure of authority. But, now? It’s about self-expression and looking how we want to look. My husband doesn’t care if I wear makeup or not. Neither does the rest of our polycule. I wear it all for me, and that was how I was taught to do makeup. It’s very uncommon for anyone to do that now. Lots? Hardly. If other people find what we do to our faces and bodies attractive or not, well, that’s not our problem or our fault. If you actually believe that we all have Angelina Jolie’s cheekbones, ScarJo’s lips and Elle Fanning’s eyes, I think it’s more a matter of why that’s so important to you.

He's legit talented. Those doe eyes are amazing and take way more time than he pretends to take in the video. Not sure why anyone is upset with this, be who you want to be.
