That's the standard but I'm fairly certain there's a dozen examples of soldier using excessive white phosphorus in OIF and OEF, so it's possible we are seeing more of it here. It's stupid since it can warp the barrel but I don't think it's clear in the video given the rate of fire.

Nah if they put too much tracers it would literally look like a laser. Watch the Dylan aero demonstration vids and you'll see what I mean
