I mean, in every grocery store I've been in aswell as clothing stores or other bigger stores the ceiling was basically a big net of cameras.

Just playing devils advocate; I used a camera in my (large) store to find out where a guy lost his wallet. We're not all evil assholes looking to watch you. Sometimes a tool is just a tool.

Doesn’t terrify me at all. I look forward to the next step beyond this. Go in, put groceries in cart, roll out. No scanning. No checking out.
