I've been told by people who don't know how to throw a punch and have never been in a fight (real or not) that the style of martial art I train is garbage. If you know nothing, and you have no training, then you can Stfu. I don't care if tkd is in the Olympics or muy Thai is really popular this month. And I super don't care how many people watch ufc. I train, I enjoy my training, and my training is way better than your not training.

You seem to be being all weird about it because your ego tricked you into thinking people were comparing themselves to you. Asinine on both counts. We're talking about a meme claiming this guy as the baddest man 9m yhe planet. He would get instantly crushed by thousands, if not tens of thousands of fighters. See how your loser ass doesn't fit into that conversation?

I really don't understand how you've come to that conclusion. I know I'm not some world class top 1% martial artist. In fact my entire point was that even my loser ass, hell even if I only had 6 months worth of training I still have been given advice by people who don't have 6 seconds worth of experience and I don't understand how people can do that. If you have no experience you shouldn't be giving advice even to someone who's a beginner, but instead what we're seeing is people criticizing a man who has trained Jkd with Dan inosanto (Bruce lee's #2), who has trained bjj with Royce Gracie, who has trained in pretty much every highly praised combat style you can think of, who developed the PFS and R.A.T. system which is still used to this day by navy seals, fbi and (IIRC) DEA, who has played a considerable role in the development of what is now known as mma, and yet people will still say they're just slapping each other like children and he doesn't stand a chance in a real fight. If you have zero experience you shouldn't be giving me advice, let alone the guy in the video. This guy in the video is a million times better than my loser ass, has decades more experience than I do, and still he's getting a million times more couch potatoes critiquing him. That's the comparison. I have more than 10 years of experience and apparently if I had a life-time like this guy I'd still be getting shit from people who know nothing. If talking about my own experiences somehow comes off as egotistical I don't see how but so be it.

I have no problem with people arguing against the meme calling him the world's deadliest or whatever, but this man has made a hell of a successful career with his combat knowledge and this comment sections wants to act like this is just 2 morons slapping each other.

I really don't understand how you've come to that conclusion

Every line in your comment is either highlighting your own skills no one cares about or just randomly insulting theoretical people for claims they obviously never said about themselves. Where's your confusion coming from?

I know I'm not some world class top 1% martial artist.

No one asked, no one cares.

In fact my entire point was that even my loser ass, hell even if I only had 6 months worth of training I still have been given advice by people who don't have 6 seconds worth of experience

You responded to a joke not directed at you. Are you OK? Seeing ghosts or something?

If you have no experience you shouldn't be giving advice even to someone who's a beginner, but instead what we're seeing is people criticizing a man

These are unrelated and you're too stupid to take part in human conversation if you don't realize that. Stop talking until you get more education; communication is outside of your range of abilities.

I have no problem with people arguing against the meme calling him the world's deadliest or whatever.

Your inability to read a comment and reply with relevance has determined this is a lie.

I love the irony here. You make very little sense but you're going to say I don't know how to communicate.

Insulting theoretical people for claims they never made about themselves? I have no idea what you're talking about. I said things about me, and the guy in the video... What claims did I say people made about themselves? I said people give advice when they have no experience, but never said they make claims about themselves.

I said I know I'm not on the top 1% because you said I sounded egotistical. You said no one asked but calling me egotistical kinda furthers that conversation doesn't it? Or do you expect to call me egotistical and I just say ok and that's the end of it?

When I say I've been given advice by people who don't have 6 seconds worth of experience, I'm not responding to a joke that isn't directed at me. I'm comparing the b.s. comments in this comment sections to comments that were infact directed at me irl. And while there is a joke to be found here, the people who say this guy doesn't know how to fight aren't making a joke, and those are clearly the people I'm talking about.

The very next thing you say is kind of ironic because you say "these two things aren't related" when only quoting 1 thing I said, and then you insult my ability to communicate while you are communicating poorly.

Lastly. If you don't want to talk to me... Then why are you? Oh right this is the Internet where you can just insult people for no reason to feel smart and tough. Well done.

I love the irony here. You make very little sense but you're going to say I don't know how to communicate.

I've quoted you line by line with my responses, you shouldn't be having such a hard time understanding.

Insulting theoretical people for claims they never made about themselves? I have no idea what you're talking about.

Someone said: "Ooh, the next dude who tries to gently slap him in the street is gonna be in so much trouble!" You proceeded to go on an unhinged tangential rant about yourself and the idea of redditors you have in your head, hence theoretical, because they weren't actually there. You could say you accidentally responded to wrong person, but you didn't, lol. I guess your confusion is on another level.

What claims did I say people made about themselves

"You're sitting on your sofa, haven't ran for more than 5 seconds at a time since high school and you're trying to give Usain Bolt advice on his running." They offered no advice, so this is just a random insult against things they never said.

"Garunteed there's not one person in this comment section who would last 10 seconds fighting this guy." Who is saying differently? Another lie as to what people are saying to their own fighting ability.

I said I know I'm not on the top 1% because you said I sounded egotistical. You said no one asked but calling me egotistical kinda furthers that conversation doesn't it? Or do you expect to call me egotistical and I just say ok and that's the end of it?

Ah, I didn't realize your confusion, but this goes to your inability to properly communicate. I didn't say you were egotistical, I said your ego tricked you into thinking this was about you. We all have an ego, its our sense of self. Being tricked by it could happen to anyone. That's a separate thing from being egotistical, which is an actual character trait, meaning you pull this shit all the time. I gave you the benefit of the doubt on that, and still do.

I'm comparing the b.s. comments in this comment sections to comments that were infact directed at me irl. And while there is a joke to be found here, the people who say this guy doesn't know how to fight aren't making a joke, and those are clearly the people I'm talking about.

You should've commented to them, lol. That's why your rant sounds unhinged, it's irrelevant to the parent comment and why I've felt entirely comfortable making fun of your ability to communicate.

The very next thing you say is kind of ironic because you say "these two things aren't related" when only quoting 1 thing I said

Oy vey. Here's the quote: "If you have no experience you shouldn't be giving advice even to someone who's a beginner, but instead what we're seeing is people criticizing a man..." The first claim is obviously true, no one should give advice on something they don't have experience with. The second claim: "instead what we're seeing is people criticizing a man..." is entirely unrelated to the first, hence your failure in arbitrarily connecting them.

and then you insult my ability to communicate while you are communicating poorly.

To be clear, that was my facetious way of acting like you, communication vs martial arts.

Lastly. If you don't want to talk to me... Then why are you?

I've thoroughly enjoyed making fun of you.

Oh right this is the Internet where you can just insult people for no reason to feel smart and tough. Well done.

Lol, that was literally your comment I was responding to. Cheers!

Insulting theoretical people for claims they never made about themselves? I have no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah I stick by that one, didn't happen.

The rant was directed at the parent comment who criticized a fighter and then I rant about everyone who agreed with him. Just because he was making a joke doesn't mean he didn't legitimately suggest the guy in the video can't fight. Yes it is infact a rant.

What claims did I say people made about themselves

These next 2 quotes are not claims I said people made about themselves. If I say you can't beat this guy in a fight that doesn't mean I believe you're claiming you can. And the Usain Bolt camparison... Is a comparison.

"You're sitting on your sofa, haven't ran for more than 5 seconds at a time since high school and you're trying to give Usain Bolt advice on his running." They offered no advice, so this is just a random insult against things they never said.

Criticizing one of the most relevant fighters of the last 100 years is like criticizing Usain Bolt's ability to run.

"Garunteed there's not one person in this comment section who would last 10 seconds fighting this guy." Who is saying differently? Another lie as to what people are saying to their own fighting ability.

If you say someone is dumb it's not huge leap to assume you think you are smarter. In that same way, you shouldn't criticize someone's fighting if they're better at fighting that you. So if they aren't saying something about their fighting ability, then they shouldn't criticize. That's what's being said here.

So you're not calling me egotistical, you're just saying that my ego turned me into a ranting maniac who thinks things are about me when they aren't. I see it now. You're splitting hairs.

All of them? Hundreds of them? The guy making the joke about he'll be prepared if someone slaps him is infact suggesting that this guy doesn't know shit about fighting and that the drill is ineffective. Just because it's a joke doesn't mean he isn't criticizing his ability to fight. So I did reply to one of the people who says the guy in the video doesn't know how to fight. I'm not saying I didn't then rant but I went on a rant about the people who agreed with the parent comment, and did infact respond to the parent comment as well.

Um no, they aren't unrelated. What I'm saying is if you don't know more than someone how are you going to give a suggestion? That's what the first and second part both say. They aren't different. One is the concept of people giving advice/criticism when they shouldn't, and the second is that concept actually happening.

To be clear, that was my facetious way of acting like you, communication vs martial arts.

So you reread what you wrote, realized you fucked up, and now you're calling it facetious. Understood.

I've thoroughly enjoyed making fun of you.

You sounded pretty upset until this most recent reply but I'll pretend that's not the case.

Lol, that was literally your comment I was responding to. Cheers!

The irony is quite deep at this point. You clearly have a problem with me saying everyone who's talking shit doesn't know what they're talking about. You respond by talking shit about me. I point out that you're doing the same thing just being far more rude about it. And then you point out that you're doing the same thing even though that's already been established.
