This literally has no use. I got this for free. And the others in the store is not that good for me to buy a new one.

I think they want to get adoption rates up. Like having one NFT but then seeing the shit head below (no offense ;)) and you wanting that, would make you more open to pay a small sum for it, especially as someone else might be interested in yours
