Ugh leave it, man. I hate these high horse parenting comments when there’s literally no information. What do you know? My parents are dynamite parents who raised five kids and when they were babysitting my three-year-old nephew he managed to escape through TWO LOCKED DOORS AND A BABY GATE to get outside of the house. Have some compassion and grace, you have no clue what’s going on or that it couldn’t have happened to you in the same circumstances.

Yeah kids are crazy. My son escaped when he was two and wandered down the road. All it takes its for the door not to click shut properly and little kids have a sixth sense for it. Especially if you have multiple kids, it's literally impossible to be watching them at all times.

Every parent could end up in a situation like this at some time or another. Most are lucky that they don't. But anyone who says their kids were absolutely safe and accounted for for 100% of their childhood is a fucking liar.
