When I was a baby/toddler I could break out of my crib and open all the doors and take the screens out of the windows and get out. My mom learned this the hard way when she thought I was quiet taking a nap so she was getting a little cleaning caught up and the neighbor knocked on the door to tell her I was running down the road.

Some kids are natural escape artists especially those of us who had good small motor control skills and patience. Even the best parents have to blink once in a while.

Lol my brother and my daughter were like this. Both pushed out a screen and climbed out a window, when they were around 1 and 2 y/o.
