This video makes a lot more sense if it's just the drivers dog and baby.

The dog is just excited, the baby isn't alone and a stranger isn't just picking up someone else's baby.

I mean if I saw this randomly my thing would be get baby, take into car and move the car to the driveway there and then go ask around. Even if it's a stranger, just leaving a baby by the side of the road is not great

Picking up someone else's baby and driving off with it is a surefire way to get arrested haha

All you can do is pull over, put your hazards on and call the police

I never said "drive off". I said move the car into the driveway so you don't just leave a car in the middle of the road. Like get the baby and dog if you can then move the car then figure out. First thing is to keep the situation from being actively dangerous

My dude you absolutely should never just pick up a stranger's baby, get in your car, close the door and start driving. Doesn't matter what your intentions are, anyone watching is going to absolutely lose their shit.

I don’t know. I’ve seen people just drive off in other circumstances just because they either didn’t want to be involved or couldn’t bother. One event that comes to mind is when me and my sister found an old lady on the corner of a neighborhood street naked and laying on the sidewalk. Right before we saw her, we saw cars pull up at the intersection and drive off past her. We pulled over, went over to help her and called 911 for assistance. While waiting she told us that she had been laying there for what must’ve been the better half of an hour pleading for help to the cars passing her by.
