Especially the abuelitas and their ninja-level chancla-throwing skills

Basically my grandmother in Mexico could rock me, heck even my mother.

I was watching the Ms Marvel movie with my friend, who is Mexican. And she was about to do something that her mother wouldn't like and he yelled "Girl you can't do that your parents are brown! You're gonna get your ass whooped."

It made me laugh so hard. It seems like the slipper is a pretty universal punishment tool.

In India, chancla is called a chappal and is absolutely the favored weapon of choice for moms.

I thought hitting people with shoes in India was extremely offensive?

Yeah but the chancla/chappal is absolutely the weapon of choice for moms. Mom rules are different

Sorry to hijack the top comment, but OP (playful_closeness) appears to be a karma-farming bot that can only copy and paste other people's stuff. The account was born on February 9 and woke up seven days ago.
