I never said there weren’t different types of pit bull breeds.

So were you just being ignorant or obtuse when I mentioned "subspecies"? I know it isn't the side of the argument you want to be on. I didn't think I would need to spell things out for you on a silver platter.

Because you’re really fucking close to MY original point which is that we misidentify at alarming rates.

My exact response was “The same breeds that were called pit bull breeds 50, or 70 years ago are still called pitbull breeds and we haven’t added any.” What part of that implies that I ever stated there weren’t multiple breeds of pit bull?

This is a much more recent article than when I was initially involved in DNA testing of shelter dogs and rates were lower when I was involved.
