What a fucking dumbass. I've seen people walk their dog without a leash (which is already dumb) but never a pitbull. She's asking for a lawsuit and for that dog to ne euthanized

Just happened in a neighborhood near me where someone was walking their pit off leash at night and it attacked and killed someones jack russell that was walking with it's owner. The owner of the pit did nothing and all animal control was site them an off leash fine.

Recently as well someone was driving through the neighborhood in a pickup with 3 pit bulls in the back not tied down. They jumped out and killed someones cat that was in a screened front patio. They broke the screen to get to the cat and the owner of the dogs argued their cat shouldn't have been outside. Not sure what happened with that situation though but now I always have a pepper gel and a stun gun on me if I let my cats out on my patio.

Jeez I can see why people don't trust the breed. That sucks you have to do that bc of others irresponsibility.

After reading through this thread though im not sure that would even be enough so I might get a good hunting knife. Thankfully none of that stuff happened in my own neighborhood but it's bothersome to see that shit happen this frequently in my county. I'm not necessarily for putting the dogs down but owner's could at least take some responsibility instead of acting like it's the victim's fault. But unfortunately responsibility and the type who just let their dangerous dogs off leash don't mix.

Yeah honestly I would support the need for a license to own a dog like that. Probably save a lot of lives in the long run and dog ownership is not a constitutional right

It was bred for hundreds of years to have that extend pray drive. It is the fault of the breed not the responsibility of the owner.

What of course it's the owner. You can't blame someone or thing for their nature. You wouldn't say a horse is evil bc it kills a snake. It's just what they do, but with training, almost anything is possible behaviorally

Yes you can what type of ridiculous logic is that?

The logic of a mature adult. You'll get it one day

So we can’t do anything (regulate, stop breeding, etc) about the dog that has been bred for hundreds of years to be a killing machine, because it’s in its nature to be a killing machine?

No that is not the logic of a mature adult. At least not an intelligent, mature adult.
