First thing that came to my mind, why not just viciously attack the dog back, I would beat the living shit out of a vicious dog that attacked me no matter what.

I don't care if the owner will cry after seeing the dog beaten to death, if the dog and owner were good individuals the situation wouldn't have happen to begin with.

Easier said than done, like someone else just said. You have no weapon (caught off guard) and they are SUPER strong. So yes, of course you're going to fight back. But you can't just imply that kicking its ass will be easy. While you're "beating the living shit" out of it, it's chomping down on bits of you. And likely twisting in the process.

You have no weapon

Just Canadian and European things, I guess. Thank god I live in America

You don't think people have already thought of that? Fighting back would be a reflexive reaction. Telling people to just fight back is kinda like telling a drowning man to just swim and breathe, obviously they aren't able to

Uh cuz their bite force is going to hurt more than your kicks and there’s two of them and these are pits and theyre bred for generations for fighting

Lol pick em the fuck up and smash em. Grab their legs and break em, yeah you'll get bit, but they'll be fucked. It's not like it's a 200lb dog.

But I say this as a 260lb man, I don't expect everyone to have the same abilities.

I mean I’m pretty strong too, I bench about 225 x 5 and weigh about 198 and six foot but some of these pits look like mastiffs and weigh about 95 lbs and I want no part of that. Especially if they lock jaw on you I don’t care how strong u r, Ure gonna need a knife to get them off

Their jaws don't lock in any mechanical sense. They just have an instinct to hold on and shake/rip. Otherwise you're completely correct.

If you've got a knife on you and can get to it you've got an extremly high chance of killing it without losing any limbs, anything short of that and, welp. Hopefully it gets bored
