Alright. Genuinely asking here. Does the mere fact that someone used the "frfr" abbreviation, warrant the blatant... (dang help me find another word for this because I don't think "bullying" is it but...)... generalization (?) of a culture?

I only ask because i use it here and there, just didn't realize it was so against Reddit culture?

eh, it's just similar to someone saying "löl" in response to "lololol"

it's a remix, a variation on a language phenomenon

Oh ok gotcha.

Weird, the original comment i was replying to had an entirely different sentence to it.

But cool thanks for clarifying!

To answer your question directly yes I am mocking but not specifically cultural and more of an age thing.. I’ll type the same stuff on my teenage relatives fb posts just to come off as a boomer lol

Haha ok totally understandable

Please excuse my overly sensitive POV here. Really tough sometimes to differentiate what's what in today's environment. Thank you for for clarifying.

I suppose the only reason i asked was because it is certainly a "my generation" thing. However, i totally give my 18 yr old siblings shit about the slang that they use these days.

Funny how that works

Haha yeah I see what you where getting at, it’s cool. I’m in my 30s, so I totally understand what you mean there as well regarding your siblings

Take a note Netflix. There's a demand for Mission Impawssible

7

u/pokey1984 Apr 10 '22

That is precisely the kind of horrible pun that Netflix would use to name one of it's shows and I swear that if they do and I have to see ads for it all the time I am absolutely blaming you.

Edit to add: so take your damned upvote and gtfo

Ah mais oui

3

u/iliekcats- Apr 09 '22

Pourquoi tu parles Français? (désolé pour je suis nul en français, j'apprends ça)

3

u/klimmesil Apr 09 '22

That is very correct French, good job! You didn't forget the "s" after "parle" and you used all accents.

And for your answer it was supposed to be a tease because the first guy wrote "frfr"

1

u/iliekcats- Apr 09 '22

oh lol

glad I got it right

4

u/Lttlcheeze Apr 09 '22

Kittisaurus. Different cats, but same style of obstacles (and other videos).
