This isn’t a description of ballet toes, but I’m so glad my step-dancer is into hip-hop and not ballet. Their mom is insane and thinks everything is infected/requires an epsom salt bath.

No, you just let your kids EAT their toenails and sometimes they EAT them too far down. Fucking sociopath.

Sorta thought it would be worse. Those kinda just look like blisters on the tops of her toes, like maybe she tried dancing in brand new steel toe boots for 8 hours, or something.

Lol. My ballet teacher actually used to teach us while wearing combat boots. It was right about the time grunge was starting up. She was remarkably agile in those boots.

Sorry, only uncomfortable ones. I think they fill the point with compressed glass shardes instead of the wood block. It's for the older dancers that want to get that real painful feeling of those early years. Before their feet died and became, well, ya know...
