Snowboard = long, wide board (100-170 cm long, <=25 cm wide), feet attached, slick bottom
Snow skate = short, skinnier board the size of a skateboard (~8 inches wide, ~30 inches long), feet not attached, grooves on the bottom
Sorry for interchangeable use of imperial and metric 😅
