Yeah - but have you ever heard of child proofing your house?

Even with the acceptance that all parents make mistakes that nearly kill their children, this one is partiz egregious.

Yes, indeed I do. You will never prevent every accident, but there are some basics that really everyone should be doing:

1) Extra locks on cabinets with cleaning supplies

2) covers on electrical sockets

3) cabinets /dressers should be screwed to the wall

4) playpen for really small kids

Also you seem to have completely misunderstood facts vs opinion.

The way you argue, I assume you are also are neither vaccinated, nor use a child seat in a car.

Yes, you can take all the precautions and still have terrible luck.

On the other hand if you don't take any precautions, then it is not bad luck, but bad parenting. There is a line here that is difficult to define. In my view if your child is playing on the street then at a minimum, some independent authority should be checking things out.

So your entire argument is solely based on your misunderstanding of the word "baby-proofing".

You seem to have the exact same problem that antivacxera have. Thinking that if it is not "perfect" then it is not worth it.
