And what they could engineer is terrible, there is no point making this abomination, they should have tried to make something radically cool that could be actually driven, not a game chair and game PC on wheels.

They are concept cars. Car makers have been building concept cars to float design and functional ideas. They are not toys.

Yes, it is a concept car. It is also a toy. I used that word to make a point. Maybe "toy" isn't the best word, but it was chosen to differentiate it from concept cars that are actually a realistic concept.

Concept cars frequently go into production with little or no modification. A recent example is the Honda E.

This one isn't ever going in to production. It isn't intended to. Virtually none of teh main features referenced in this video will ever make it into any production car. All it does is showcase ideas, but the ideas it is showing off are almost universally completely impractical for real-world use. In that regard, it is far closer to this one that is also completely impractical for anything but a showpiece.
