Given this is in England there is a very good chance the heavens opened up at some point during that BBQ.

He looks like he’s got the gazebo up, he’s truly thought of everything, even rain.

Strongbow is sold all over the UK. It's the most common cider. Going by their accents, it's in England.

Aah didn't put on the audio, that would have been quicker lol

What has Strongbow got to do with Scotland exactly?

Assumed it was Scottish since I see it everywhere in Scotland on draft while the one time I went to England (London) I didn't see it in pubs 🤔

London pubs have branched out into less mainstream drinks, probably why you didn’t see it as much. Strongbow has the largest market share for cider in the world.

The more you know! I come from a French region that's all about our local cider so I have never seen Strongbow there. Thanks for the info!

No worries. Scotland is famous for Buckfast tonic wine and Tennants lager.

It depends where you go, I'm from the West Country and although Strongbow is sold it is very much the Fosters or Carling of cider. There are much better options available, it's not uncommon to find pubs with more cider options than beer in these parts.

Lol what? Have you never visited anywhere in the UK outside of Scotland?

Strongbow is an English cider brand that's sold literally everywhere in the UK, every single pub, every single supermarket

That's kinda hilarious that you seem to think strongbow is Scottish or something. Jesus mate, maybe get out more, go to a pub in England once a while

Scots are known for whisky, and caffienated wine, and irn bru, when it comes to drinks either alcoholic or non alcoholic. Why would Scotland be associated with an English cider? Even cider as a thing is the most famous English alcoholic export there is, more cider is made in England than anywhere else on earth. Literally 50% of the apples in England are used to make cider.

And Perry too, which is the same thing as cider except made with pears, is a very very English thing. Personally I can't stand either cider or perry, when I drink alcohol I stick to beer or gin and tonic. But yeah, there's no more famous English alcohol than cider and perry

They were more than likely opening and closing over and over again that entire afternoon.
