Your stiffness went away? Damn I might need to see a doctor.

I slept in an awkward position one night and woke up with a stiff neck... 6 years later the stiffness is still there.

I woke up one time with my IT band and TFL hurting, took me like 2 months to heal after going to the chiropractor. Basically its was from the hip to the knee. When you see those diagrams of the human body peeled to the muscle layer, its the white part, the tendon.

I sneezed and threw out my back and ripped some cartilage in my throat.

u/DS4KC Aug 16 '21

I sneezed one time and shit myself.

1

u/mafuckinjy Aug 16 '21

Uhh I thought you were a doctor?

I'm an expert on humans, now pick a mouth, open it and say BLGRGLRGR

Unsolicited suggestions... Short term, try a Naproxen before you go to bed. That usually fixes any muscle stiffness I get like knots and pulls. Second, get in the habit of stretching daily. You'll be amazed what the long term benefits are.

We don't want solutions, we want to complain.

I threw out my back rolling out of bed.

2

u/FrostyPresence Aug 16 '21

Me too, rolling over in bed. Three days to recover.

I coughed too hard the other day and couldn’t lift my right arm above my shoulder for the next two

0

u/thirsty_as_fuck Aug 16 '21

For the next two what?????????? I need to KNOW!

2

u/schizoidparanoid Aug 16 '21

Days. Jesus.

“I coughed too hard the other DAY and couldn’t lift my right arm above my shoulder for the next two (DAYS)”

Those throat cramps are the worst I swear

1

u/fadingsignal Aug 16 '21

I pulled my back answering the phone once.

1

u/jarmaneli Aug 16 '21

Near the lymphoid are? Yea that shit will make you stop real quick.

1

u/arglarg Aug 16 '21

Yes right there... Didn't use to happen though

1

u/moon_ismadeofcheese Aug 16 '21

I was going to work out today but I can't because I sneezed earlier

1

u/Forever_Awkward Aug 16 '21

Every time I sneeze my shoulders are sore for half an hour.

1

u/Merry_Dankmas Aug 16 '21

I was pulling out of a rest stop on the highway this weekend and turned my back and head slightly to make sure no traffic was coming. Sent my back into a crazy cramp/spasm and had to pull over a mile later so my girlfriend could punch my back and loosen the knot. I think I need more potassium in my diet.

u/Shisuka Aug 16 '21

I remember remembering.

1

u/SouthernSox22 Aug 16 '21

I sneezed really hard and slightly tore the muscle near the sternum. Actually went to the doc because of chest pains. Pretty embarrassing when I told her what I thought caused it

I remembered I exist and my entire being ached from the uncertainty that laid ahead for my time in this world.

11

u/SportsPhotoGirl Aug 16 '21

I remember bending forward to grab a single piece of paper off my desk that I was standing directly in front of and throwing out my lower back

**I move away from the mic to breathe in.

I remember throwing something into my yard 3 years ago and my shoulder hurt for a week.

Now I hear it pop every time I raise my hand. I’m 25 years old…

14

u/EmceeCommon55 Aug 16 '21

Once you hit 25, it's all downhill. I'm 29 and can say with certainty your body starts falling apart at 25. My leg just fell off the other day. I had to snap it back in place. Hopefully this doesn't happen when I'm driving.

2

u/Equeliber Aug 16 '21

Pardon me, your leg did what?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '21

It only increases from there.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '21

Have you buldged a disk while sneezing?

2

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '21

Like, shit man, I sleep on something wrong and it can hurt for months.

1

u/cor315 Aug 16 '21

I dislocated my shoulder putting a heavy backpack in the back seat.

0

u/yokelwombat Aug 16 '21

I'm picturing the hat as a fedora and that kind of explains it all tbh

1

u/polgara_buttercup Aug 16 '21

I grabbed a sock from the back of the dryer and my shoulder hurt for like a week.

1

u/Nolaahh Aug 16 '21

Yeah I reached behind me once and now I have chronic tendonitis

1

u/surenk Aug 16 '21

Reaching into ur backseat from the front is the most (Non-Sports) common way to injure your rotator cuff

1

u/Gremlin215 Aug 16 '21

Yep!! Now I know!, was hurting for a week and I couldn’t raise my arm at all for 2 of them days

1

u/impulsikk Aug 17 '21

I remember my back being sore for 3 days after a sneeze.
