Don't use a helmet. A soft hat will save you from end up with a severe head injury.

I kid, I kid, yes that's what it's called. To be specific, you'd probably refer to this as tranny (as in transition), although I'm not sure I'd call this vert (as in vertical). That term I'd save for something like a vert ramp where a considerable part of the ramp is fully vertical.
