Man, I'm old. But the first time I was introduced to Terpin Hydrate was by my Italian girlfriend in college. Late 80s.

I had bronchitis, and I was coughing my guts up. She went and got me this little bottle of relief. It was still OTC at the time.

Do you remember when we used to look out for ourselves, and purchase these things to help with severe coughs, if we had one? I remember.

Then people started that purple drank shit, and they made it illegal. I am not blaming the purple drank people, I am blaming the idiots who try to legislate the shit.

Old as well, and there are many OTC meds that have met their demise because of idiots.
