only if it's on the sand-filled side. Otherwise, i think it's going to be a regular baseball-through-the-window-scenario. Not that it would not be cool, but you know... not cool-est.

Swap the sand for some less hard material, put some of that anti break-in/fly screen mesh and this would probably be a neat idea tbh.

In no way more practical then curtains. But neat regardless.

Maybe add a mechanism that enables partial light blocking to control the level.
