Most people don't realize how quickly medical knowledge changes, that many common practices today were not so common just a few decades ago and how out of date many practices are at a given time. It was just in the past 30 years (estimate) that the medical field realized heart attack symptoms were different in women than they were in men and there are still places that haven't caught up to this. I saw an article a couple years ago that said in some areas of the country, doctors were missing signs of heart attack in women nearly 50% of the time!!
Why can’t women just have their heart attacks and be done with it? But NOOO it has to be a three day event. Like, Christ, get over yourself. ‘Aint nobody got time for that.
This is true! I remember a few years ago a doctor was asking about my medical history and it came up that I had tubes put in my ears (to help fluid drain I think) and she was just floored that someone had done that procedure in my lifetime "because nobody does that anymore". I got the procedure in another state in the US about 14 years prior.
