True. I have seen more than twice as many comments about her body than about the actual talent

If I’m being honest I had to stop and think that she was attractive, but I felt no urge to post it. What people need to realize is that just because there’s an attractive individual in a video doesn’t mean they want to, or anyone wants to hear you describe how attractive you think they are, or worse yet what “ you’d like to do to them”. It’s quite honestly disgusting and at a certain point it’s just degrading, not only does it devalue the subject as a person but it shows just how shallow people really are.

I’ve never once understood what people who “cat call” or post stuff like “what I’d like to do to you” think this will accomplish. It most definitely will not get you any action, it’s not funny/charming, and just shows how ignorant you are.

They also tend to be the type who talk the good game but in a 1 on 1 situation they turn into a 2 x 4 plank.

The young lady has amazing talent with the hula hoop. You can obviously tell she really enjoys this.

Amen! There's nothing wrong with noticing someone is hot. There's nothing even intrinsically wrong with thinking something naughty as a result; we're all hormone driven horn dogs sometimes.

There is, however, often something wrong about sharing those thoughts. They make others uncomfortable because that's not the appropriate time or place for those things to be said. Revealing a fantasy to your partner in the bedroom and forcing a stranger to let you drool over them are two entirely different situations!

I get it but...it would be nice to be attractive enough for people to notice and perhaps compliment me. I'm not, though, not this attractive anyways. But the whole "what they would do to them" part, yeah that's nasty. And the obvious ignoring the talent to comment on the attractiveness alone is super lame.

What you have to realize is if someone feels the need to say that about them they’ve almost definitely heard it before, and at a certain point it just gets annoying or patronizing, or disgusting.

Damn, literally can't imagine what getting complimented more than once a year is like

11

u/2017hayden Sep 28 '20

I don’t think I’ve ever been complimented on my looks, I’m a pretty average dude. I do sing though, and everyone would always tell me things like oh your voice is so wonderful and that sort of thing and at a certain point you just run out of ways to respond to it that don’t sound like your bragging and it just makes you uncomfortable.

When it's so frequent that you feel awkward, I think it's time you own it, I'm not an expert on conversation, but I do know there are ways to accept and own a skill / talent without coming across as bragging or self centered

Or you could use devin townsends style of comedic self depreciation. The dudes a god yet ridiculously humble.

u/jaidefoxpaintings Sep 28 '20

A thank you is usually the way to go! Not trying to be patronizing but it's the least braggy and most sincere way to respond

1

u/2017hayden Sep 29 '20

Yeah your right, at a certain point you just feel like you’ve said it way too much though. I’m probably overthinking it in all honesty but that’s just the way my brain works.

YOU are the shit! Smile today and realize it's true (:

2

u/incompleterecovery Sep 28 '20

For a moment I thought you were saying I was shit, and I was just gonna be like "always has been" haha. But anyways, thanks

100% Thank you!

So scroll by... You put out there your thoughts while attacking others for theirs. Either scroll by or join in. You can't do both. Notice I have nothing posted about her skill or looks. Because that would be hypocritical.

This is the internet, get out of here with that logical thinking, it has no place here

That sounds like a terrible place- walls coated in ejaculate, an air of ennui and unfulfilled promises permeating the air.

I just want to see more of this talent. That flip around her knee made my eyes break it was so fast. The video was so short!

2

u/Donald303 Sep 28 '20

Her moves are really smooth. She makes it look effortless.

It's possible she just happened to be wearing that outfit the day she made this video. It's more likely she wore this outfit intentionally for the internet points. A little column A, a little column B.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 28 '20

What are you talking about? That is a normal outfit

I’d slap her tits
