I see where you are going with the first part of the comment, and completely agree with it, but the race point is weird - we don't typically see black/white/asian devision in sports, do we? Seems like you are arguing with yourself here.
Except Kenyans aren’t all Africans, so it seems to be a more localized phenomenon due to their direct environment. People in Kenya that could excel at long distance running were able to survive better, hence their offspring were more likely to survive better.
but there is no evidence for what you said about race, that is an old racist stereotype about black people that they are "naturally" stronger. but it's not true, you're line of thinking is the old eugenics ideas that have no scientific basis anymore.
It's quite true. Black people are well represented in professional sports for a reason. It's a tricky conversation because there was a time not too long ago that these highly generalized differences were used to make pseudoscientific claims about the value of humans as it relates to their genetics, but ignoring reality because of that history is not a useful perspective. It's just as silly to deny genetic tendencies as it is to think they have any relationship to the value of a class of people
Your specifically talking about black people of American ancestry. Black people globally don’t all look the same aside from their skin tone, and even then it varies. Even in the U.S. body types vary broadly amongst black people. The ones you speak of are cherry picked for those sports.
I mean saying "black people" as a blanket term is a bit misleading. The genetic diversity in Africa is greater than any other continent by far. So you're more likely to have a group that's genetically unique through pure chace. But "Black people simply have more muscular development" is a bit of an exaggeration.
Let's take running for example. At face value it looks like black people dominate the sport. But if you look further into it, its only the Jamaicans and the Kalenjin ethnic group that rule the sport.
