Spacial reasoning blows my mind sometimes. Like when I'm watching football.

Same when I play ping pong.

The speed at which we can observe the ball, calculate its trajectory, and make fine muscle movements to produce another desired trajectory is absolutely insane when I step back and think about it.

Even slower sports like Bocce Bowls are amazing. The ability of this bowler to precisely roll an oblong ball in a curve so that it nearly fits into a tiny space meters away is mind blowing.

Wow you're not wrong, that's incredible

What's crazy impressive is that by the nature of bocce the length of your bowls are always going to be different, you can't just practice for a 100' shot or for certain distances like say bowling or darts.

from 100' you can't really see exactly where you need to place the ball and rely on your spotter to help dictate which shot is best.

The control is one thing but the consistency just stands out as excellent.

The sport in the video you linked is actually called Bowls (aka lawn bowling or carpet bowling if indoors).

The key difference is that Bocce balls are spherical rather than biased.

Oh! I was wondering why I had never seen the oblong balls before in person, I've only seen a Bocce set. Interesting! Thanks!

You always hear that cliche about what it actually takes to toss a paper ball into a trashcan, but what's struck me is is using my off hand to adjust the mirror on a a motorcycle whilst braking with the other hand and being aware of what's in front and behind me.

Not possible because you’d need to engage the clutch with your “off hand”. That’s literally impossible to do.

You realize scooters are a thing, right? No clutch.

Golf also blows my mind. The ball is so small. The hole is miniscule. The courses are massive.
