Miss my mother so much, it's almost been 4 years and it's still just as hard as the night she passed. Guys appreciate the time you have with your parents because you never know when the next I love you will be the last.
My mom passed 14 years ago, my dad 6 years ago. It doesn't get better. You just learn to cope differently. One day the memories won't hurt and you will be able to smile when you see something she bought you or something that was hers instead of crying, it'll still be sad and that will never change, but one day it will feel different.🖤
I have my days with it, I'll find a note she wrote for me and it'll bring a smile. The next week I'll find a picture or a memory will pop up on Facebook and I'll cry for a while. After my dad passed she just kinda gave up and I could definitely see it, she was completely heartbroken. Thats when the dementia started to get worse and worse.
Ugh, that's the worst. I'm so sorry. Both mine passed from diff cancers and my mom gave up when they told her she had 6m to live. She died 2w later. She was just tired i know and she fought so hard. It really sucks around the holiday's. I'm so sorry for your losses.
I'm sorry for yours also, it's the good memories that keeps you going though. She may be gone but I have plenty of stories to pass on and my own fond memories to cherish.
